The Perfect Wedding Paper

I’m a big fan a pretty things 😍

And I’m an even bigger fan of High Fancy Paper! My good friend, Bekah (aka High Fancy Paper) designed all things paper for our wedding—she basically branded our wedding. And NAILED IT.

I had a blast planning our wedding, but working with Beks on these designs was definitely my favorite part. She sat down with me in January and we dreamed up what I wanted for our save the dates, invitations, and anything else paper for the wedding. I gave her my Pinterest board of colors and ideas, then she took it and did her thing.

I think what made her so fun to work with, was that it was always a collaborative process. She’d take some of my ideas I’d (poorly) describe, and she’d come back with something amazing. Then we’d talk through more ideas of how we could make it even better.

The invitations and other wedding paper often gets put to the bottom of bride’s lists. And everyone has their priorities of what will make their wedding special for them. But for me, getting to be creative and work with a dear friend gave me so much life. I didn’t feel like I was just planning my wedding, I felt like I was getting to express my creativity through the every detail of our magical day.

She designed everything from Save The Dates, programs, menus, table numbers, seating chart, and even our matchbook party favors. ✨
